I just got some belonesox in the mail today (yes, I FINALLY have my crazy
Belonesox!), and some of the one inch (and that is if you are really stretching
the ruler!) juvenile paradise fish in the tank were challenging these 3+-inch
predators. They definitely LOOK like fuzzy bunny fish, but they have the Monty
Python Rabbit mentality they do. Sassy little things!
I will say though, that because of this they make GREAT pets for kids; so much
more interactive with tank owners than the average little fish. And so hearty,
and colorful... who could ask for a better starter fish for kids? I have given
two away now as gifts to very happy recipients; one to a 6-year-old and one to
a 28-year-old.
Just a possibility if you don't find any takers Shango! :+)
Cheers,
Connie
