Well, it seems we are making an impromptu list of shrimp predators - I myself can now add guppies to the list. I watched a gang of guppies tear apart one of my new shrimp like a bunch of piranhas this morning! Thought I was feeding them enough; maybe not. It is becoming quite clear to me why people keep shrimp in their own tank; funny how some lessons need to be learned in person though. At this rate I will be looking for shrimp at every meeting, starting in September, so those of you successfully breeding them please keep it up! Found new fry in the guppy tank this morning, only these were bright orange; the very first batch I have seen of offspring from some of my dwarf platys. New little fish are so fun! And this is in the tank that had the Columnaris problem not too long ago; what a relief that that disaster seems to finally be under control. Thanks again for all the help everyone offered with that.
