When I run low on algae in my tank, my ancistrus will pretty much eat
any veggie they can get their mouths on. I peel zucchini and nuke it
in a little water to make it sink and drop it in the tank, wilted
lettuce, spinach, peas, bell peppers, pretty much whatever I have
leftover from dinner goes into the tank. Any herbivorous or
omnivorous fish should be happy to munch. My Mbuna love the veggies
too!
