Re: [GSAS-Member] little fish live food (was) Re: Guppies

Oh Hooray Betty, that is great news about your shubinkins! Crafty little
buggers, foiling the efforts of one of the best avian predators out there -
fishy kudos to them!

Cant wait to see the pinkies/fish food... the belonesox will be SO
pleased... Thanks in advance! ;+))

What I'm going to try to do is net some of the shubunkin pinkie culls asap
and keep them in a smaller tank outside so they are available for those
who need live food. They are becoming more crafty as they get
older....hope I can catch them! Good news is that as of yesterday, I
finally saw ALL FOUR of my biggest shubunkins in the 100g stock tank! I'd
taken the 6 shubunkins I had in quarantine from The Fish Store and divvied
them up into the 100g and 150g stock tanks. All that new activity may have
stirred up the 'residents' as all were surface feeding. However, I haven't
seen the sarasas recently. I have a huge pot of parrotfeather that takes
up 1/4 of the 150g stock tank and I think they like to stay in there
(sigh). I did put in 4 shubunkins in that tank so hopefully that will
entice them OUT!
