Subject: free Tetraodon nigroviridis

Dear Mr. Wallace,

Iâm a Seattle aquarist now going off to college in about two weeks, and I 
have a three inch green spotted puffer (Tetraodon nigroviridis) that needs a 
good home. I was wondering if you have any members who would like a free puffer 
fish? If anyone can commit to keeping it properly, I can give them the complete 
20 gallon tank set up for free, which includes an âover killâ AquaClear 200 
external filter (necessary to keep up the puffer's messy eating habits) and of 
course a heater and full hood (this fish jumps and bites fingers!).

As you know Iâm sure this is an aggressive brackish water fish that needs 
some grit in his diet to keep his perpetually growing front teeth ground down 
(I use clams and snails; live fiddler crabs would also work), however s/he is 
also weaned to dry cichlid sticks and frozen food as staples.

This is a fascinating fish and truly worth the challenges of its upkeep.

Oh yeah, and the puffer is named Eddy. :) Hope someone is interested.
