Re: [GSAS-Member] Fw: polly drums

Did anyone actually get one of these? I emailed the contact but never heard
back; I am assuming they are long gone by now. I too was hoping to use it
as a water-change/treatment vat... oh well. I know the Olsons just use big
plastic garbage cans; I might have to go that route and soon. Anybody got
any words of wisdom about where to find a good (and cheap, I confess) pump
that moves water for that purpose though?

I love ithat the original Craigslist posting got forwarded to this chat
group by the way; those of you that are watching Craigslist for this stuff
and letting us know when it is something potentially useful - Thanks! Keep
up the good work!

Cheers,
Connie

Either way,
your going to want to do a Bleach dip on em' to be
safe..
I personally wouldn't use any barrels that had any sort of chemicals in them
for sure.
I've had ones that you can smell the food that was previously in them but I
always
ask prior to getting them as well.. I am very cautious about these since I
use them
for Pre-treatment of all my water for my Discus.... FWIW....
