I believe so. The quality of the materials in the Python - the hose, the
shutoff switch (very important) and so forth seem to me to be much more
substantial than Lees. Lee's is a knockoff. Python actually owns (or used to
own) the patent to the filler part, which comes from the waterbed industry,
which may not exist anymore.
I find the python is much safer, too, than 'knockoff's from siphon hoses or
garden hoses or whatever. YMMV.
