This is one of our "Albino Spotted Eruption " discus.. There are 4 total.
A known breeder here locally is rearing all 4 since it is better to keep
them in a group and we obtained them around 5 months back approx. They
around around 7-8 months old now. Albinos are generally more touchier to
raise and must have optimum water quality and feedings. ( over 100% water
changes per day and 5 feedings min. )
These are "RARE" especially with this kind of a "Complete Pattern".. We
are hoping that we will get at least 1 pair out of them and they will
produce "Wigglers" !!!
These are not Local fish by anymeans. No one around here has them for
sure..
They will carry 100 % of the Albino gene. If you were to breed one of
these with a normal Leopard your F1s would be considered "Intermediates"
meaning they would not look at all like albinos but would carry the Albino
gene. Now 2nd generation ( F2's)
you would see a mix of the two visually. ( some albino, some reg.
Eruptions )
Just thought I would share...
