Hi Everyone, Those of you who have been following the events concerning our Horticulture Awards Program since last June are aware that we are re-starting our Greater Seattle Aquarium Society (GSAS) Horticulture Awards Program (HAP) from scratch. The rules of the program have not changed, other than the addition of a point submission form. Here is a link to the rules for our HAP program: http://www.gsas.org/Articles/hap.html Currently nobody has any points earned, we are all even. This is your chance to be the leader! At our September meeting I distributed copies of our new GSAS HAP point submission form. If you were unable to attend, or did not receive a copy, Erik has been kind enough to also post a copy of it on our website: http://www.gsas.org/hapform.html If you would like a MS Word or .TXT version of the file emailed to you, please contact me at: GSAS_HAP@Comcast.net You may submit your point requests to me via e-mail at the email address above, or give me your forms at the meetings. Please keep copies for your records. The records (forms) we accumulate will enable a database of information for our members so they will be able to replicate the success of others. Hopefully we will eventually be able to put this information online, but in the meantime I will have a notebook with the completed forms for review at the meetings and will provide copies to members who request them. I am still looking for some suggestions from members for possible HAP subjects or speakers that would be of interest to them. We have Luis Navarro visiting us again this year for our March 10th, 2009 meeting. He did an excellent presentation this last spring and I am looking forward his next one! Thank you, I look forward to serving you this year. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions.
