[GSAS-Member] Freshwater flounders

I picked up six of these "freshwater flounders" at The Fish Store yesterday
for $4 each. They are approx 1 1/2-2" long right now.

The salesperson said that they are a purely freshwater species however I
suspect that they probably require brackish water (at least as adults).

Can anyone help me to specifically identify these guys?
