Re: [GSAS-Member] koi grow-out setup?? (

HA!! All 25-30 are NOT gonna make a round trip if I can help it (grin).
I'm starting to get some very metallic shimmers on many of the larger ones
so I'm really torn about not watching ALL of them grow up. But that's
impossible (sigh). I noticed little barbels on the bigger ones around
Thursday and some of the scalation is really interesting with huge
mirror-like scales on the belly of one. These are SOOOOO interesting to
watch change from day to day! The whitest one started showing orange tints
on the head just yesterday....

I'll probably bring the empty 10 gal tank and a couple 5 gal buckets with
fish and will definately need help moving them! There are lots of bigger
fish so all of them in a 10 gal tank will be tight. Not sure where I'll
find parking and am not sure that I won't get LOST finding the new
location (I get lost at the drop of a hat...NO sense of
direction....sigh). If someone has extra bags, that'd be cool as I have
ZERO fish-bags. I'll bring some large yogurt containers with lids since I
have plenty of those.

Betty Goetz - anyone want to car-pool from north of Seattle??
