Hello SAS folks - I have many dwarf crayfish and some plants that need a new home. Both are kept in unheated fresh water tanks. The crayfish are very entertaining and are easy to care for - just give them a little sinking food each day. The crayfish grow to about 1" long. I believe some people raise them as food for larger fish - the idea being that the young are easily eaten by larger fish and the adults aren't eaten easily so they continue to produce tasty offspring. If you want the crayfish to multiply then keep them with small fish or in a dedicated tank. I believe these are native US crayfish. I got them - several years ago - from someone in the SE - but don't remember where he got them. These are offered free to a good home. Please email me if you are interested. I probably have enough to share among several people. You would just need to come by my house in Seattle and pick them up. Thanks, Don, donbullard@comcast.net _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
