Thanks for the responses Phil and Connie I wasn't concerned about having too many plugs, more like not being able to regulate the light with a plug timer because it would also turn off the filter. Plants with the BiUbe might not be an issue, if the lighting gives off a poor spectrum. I'd probably just want anubius and java fern/moss, so it could probably all be tied to driftwood. I had severums for so long I never learned how to grow plants, so I'm starting out easy. Though I've already managed to kill a couple of Java ferns. The anubius are doing great, though. Regarding the temp on paradise fish-- I always thought that they prefered about 70-72, which is what my desk at work holds steady at. Going warmer would certianly open up my options in fish. When I bred them, I'd keep them at 70, and jack to 80 and stop filtration and bam-- bubble nest. Hmmm, I may take the 2 gal in to work as well and put shrimp and some plants, maybe a snail for the algae. Time to read up on shrimp. And thus it begins, again.
