Hi everyone, My brother and his family built this pond over the summer. He sent me the following e-mail and attached pictures. Just thought I would share them with you. Start with "1" and end with "9". I hope you enjoy them! Just click on (or cut and paste) the link below: http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=246675984/a=137555032_137555 032/t_=137555032 Roy "Sure you can post the picture.. I have more pictures, with the pond in various stages of being built if anyone wants to see. As for pond details, we purchased the 21'x26' EasyPro pond kit online from pondsupply.com Ordering went really smooth, with free shipping, if willing to pick up at the local trucking dock. Some of the extras purchased included: two 24" skimmer box extension tubes (to get the skimmer box 4 feet away from the pond edge) UV light option for inside the skimmer box (no green pond water in the summer) The pump is the EasyPro TH-400, 4900 GPH, draws 5.6 amps, and came with the kit. I can understand why people are asking about the pump, because when you think about building waterfalls you wonder how much flow you will need. I found some formulas online to estimate flow vs. waterfall width to make a good looking falls. I went with 24" wide fall due to the size of the pond. Anything wider might have looked out of scale, even though the flow would support wider falls. I hope to get some landscaping plants in before winter sets in, to tone down the amount of rock showing." _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
