Shango, just FYI, actinic emphasis the blue spectrum which penetrates
the furthest into a water column. Based on literature I have read the
blue spectrum by itself is not the greatest for plant growth, so its
good you are combining bulbs. Its unfortunate that there aren't more
varied color spectrum bulbs in compact flourescent group as opposed to
the "standard" T8-10 bulbs.
Does anyone know if there are any CF bulb companies that produce
various bulbs which emphasis specific color spectrums?
