I would imagine a bleach dip would kill them. There is some recipe for the
proper proportions of water to bleach on the internet. I think that the
snail terrors people describe are kind of funny. Personally, I control
population through the amount of food I put into my tank. I can understand,
however, snails becoming pests when they eat eggs and such.
