That's really interesting. And a little scary.

Personally, I would tell him to go fish. Tell him the tank died in a power
outage, or something like that. Nothing good can come of letting the USDA
inspect your aquariums. If he has just cause, it'll happen whether you want
it to or not. And if he doesn't have just cause, you're inviting trouble.

Perhaps my mistrustful nature is from my California origins, where Dept of
Fish & Game agents regularly confiscate and euthanize forbidden pet ferrets.


It's hard to say "no" to The Man though.
