I did a water change and apparently I sucked a shrimp into the five-gallon
bucket. I took the bucket outside to water my plants. This morning there was
ice on the rooftops, cars and road, and forming on the top of the water in
the bucket; I noticed a shrimp at the bottom- and then it moved! I took this
little guy out and put him in a cup with the ice water to warm up slowly in
the sun. This afternoon he was right-side up and I brought him inside to
warm up some more. Then I added him back to the tank, alive. Amazing! I
guess they can handle low temperatures.
