I'm wondering where we can collect local catterpillars or eggs in the spring. When I was a kid growing up in California, we raised our own monarchs, painted ladies, anise swallowtails, gulf frittilaries, etc. The frogs were such a hit with the kids, I want them to see bug metamorphasis this year. I know there are tiger swallowtails here, so they must be living off SOMETHING... If there were a good book on native northwest insects. I suppose there's no fancy entomology club equivalent to GSAS or the herp society. - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
