Just remember that what is sold as Aquarium Salt is usually just rock salt
(Sodium
Chloride).Marine Salt (like Instant Ocean, etc.) is used for making sea water
and
contains a particular formula of elements in ADDITION to Sodium and Chloride.
These
minerals are mostly:
Sulfate (SO4)
Magnesium (Mg)
Calcium (Ca)
Potassium (K)
Bicarbonate (HCO3)
Bromide (Br)
Borate (BO3)
Strontium (Sr)
Fluoride (F)
plus others we call Trace Elements
