If they're thin and red, they're tubifex. If they're brown or dark brown, blackworms. I've yet to see tubifex worms (the real ones) sold in any west coast state. They're banned in California. Too bad, really. Best food for small fish if you can get them. But, they're a health hazard too, coming from filthy water systems as a rule. If you want a *lot* (pounds) of good quality blackworms, california blackworms (google) is an excellent resource. It pays to go in on an order with a few friends. > From: cranegger@msn.com > To: gsas-member@thekrib.com > Date: Mon, 18 May 2009 04:39:48 +0000 > Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] Where do you get Live Blackworms & ...... > > > The new place, "Aquarist World" has live worms ... might be tubifex. > > > > Christine > > > From: mdorward@comcast.net > > To: gsas-member@thekrib.com > > Date: Sun, 17 May 2009 21:37:20 -0700 > > Subject: [GSAS-Member] Where do you get Live Blackworms & ...... > > > > Looking for a source that has the Live Blackworms & Live Adult Brineshrimp.. > > I know Kevin has the Brineshrimp ( place for pets ) > > Any others ?? > > _______________________________________________ > > GSAS-Member mailing list > > GSAS-Member@thekrib.com > > http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member > _______________________________________________ > GSAS-Member mailing list > GSAS-Member@thekrib.com > http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® goes with you. http://windowslive.com/Tutorial/Hotmail/Mobile?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_HM_Tutorial_Mobile1_052009 _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
