Does anyone know about breeding Brichardi Cichlids?
I just noticed this morning that there is a second spawn of fry swimming
around. The first spawn was about 3 weeks ago, and those fry have grown
to about 1/4" in length. Now there is a second brood of freshly hatched
fry in the same nest.
Is this normal for these fish? Should I look forward to a continuous
stream of new babies now if they have started breeding? Do I have to
worry about the parents eating them if I disturb them too much with a
water change? I appreciate the advice.
If anyone is interested in growing some of these out separately I'd be
happy to siphon them off into a bucket for you. Just let me know.
Cheers,
Jesse Doerr
