So, Shubunkins start out as babies with their colors.....but the rest
will change over time then?  How big can they get before changing over
to their colors?

I have 3 ~3" black babies from last year that appeared in the sarasa
goldfish tank right after I got them from Trish and I've been hoping
daily that they'd start changing. So far, still velvet black. That's one
reason why I like shubunkins....the babies are pretty much the color
they'll be as adults. Not as much guess work.
