    My opinion:
    Make sure they have a moderate amount of salt in their water (maybe a 
little more
than what you normal use for this species) to help prevent osmotic shock from 
skin
loss. 
    Add Methylene Blue to help prevent fungusing.
    Keep aeration high.
    Wait.
    Some people like to add a "slime coat" product but I'm not impresses with 
the
results obtained with that. Likewise many like to use Melafix, in case that 
helps. I DO
like to add vitamins (a human-type multivitamin) to the water in hopes of 
speeding cell
regrowth.
