[GSAS-Member] Most likely no picnic for me :-(
Damnit, I was SO determined to be at the picnic this year, had it on the
calendar form months! Then Tuesday I started getting lower abdominal
pains...long story short, I'm now in Overlake getting bag after bag of IV
antibiotics for a bad case of diverticutitis, because apparently one of the
little buggers popped and caused my high fever.
Yay, fun!
Doc say I'm stuck here for at LEAST 48 hours, which puts me right at about
2PM Saturday. I swear, if he lets me out around that time I will drive
straight to the picnic, hospital gown flapping in the breeze!
If for some reason Calye and I don't make it, you kids have fun. Hope we
see you there!
(and yes, the hospital has wifi, awesome!)
