Re: [GSAS-Member] Cotoneaster Pond Plant?

Wow Shango,

The only Cotoneaster I am familiar with is the stuff I yanked out of my yard.
It seemed to grow like a weed and never where I wanted it. This being said,
there are at least a hundred species of cotoneaster, and I am wondering which
one you saw. Some are tree size and others are bush size. Did you happen to
get a pic of the one you saw?

Subject: [GSAS-Member] Cotoneaster Pond Plant?

Hi folks,

I was at Russell Water Gardens and they had these beautiful Cotoneaster plants
along the sides of the Koi ponds. They were beautiful and grew like reeds from
the bottom and then shot up out of the water emersed.

I would like to know if anyone has ever put them in their aquariums and if
anyone has a specific species I should look to buy. They didn¹t know.

Thanks
Shango
