Sorry, it is a 204.  I put the subject in and then before I sent the email I 
double checked the filter type changed the text but forgot to change the 
subject line.
 
I found new cases for $25-$30, but if I"m going to spend that I might as well 
just buy a new filter.  That CL ad isn't bad.  Thanks Roy.

I am confused, the title says "305" but the body of your post says "204".  I
don't know of any stores that carry the parts locally.  I did some quick
checking on the "204"; a new filter runs about $60 online plus shipping.  A
new case runs about $20 online plus shipping.  I also did a quick check on
Craigslist and this might be worth checking out.  Fluval 204 plus a gob of
extras!  I know that you work in the south end.
