Re: [GSAS-Member] magnetic cleaners?



I really like the one I bought from The Fish Store. They are on the  
freezer with the frozen food.  I have worn the name off mine but I  
think I spent maybe $22 on a full size one.  You gotta really make  
sure that no grit gets caught in them though or it turns into  
sandpaper.  I did that once and now am religious about inspecting it  
first.  It does way more than a pleco does.  Even in my pleco tanks I  
get buildup of the green splotches over time and the scraper just  
peels it off...then the shrimp go nuts for the algae floating to the  
bottom.
