I had a 10 gallon tank of all males (I think it was 6-7 males) that did
great for about 2 years. After that, I didn't have as much luck with
keeping them, even with live food. I've ordered them several times from
various sources, trying to get at least one pair. Once I was shipped Dario
hysginon instead. I've often kept them for a month or so and then they
just upped and died. Often after eating well and acting fine the day
before. I've given up.
