>> Who's all going to the auction? Does anyone have any experiences bringing the fishes back into the US? We're definitely going, as I'm their auctioneer again this year :-) Our experiences at the border were pretty minimal: just tell them you're heading to a fish club meeting (which it is), and on the way back tell them you're on your way back from a fish club meeting (which you are). The Canadians said that once they came back from our auction and were asked at the boarder which plants and animals they had with them, so they whipped out a huge list of scientific names and started reading them off; the guard quickly saw that they knew the regulations of what can and can't come across much better than he did, so he let them pass. Since then, they just do the above, say they're coming for a fish club meeting (which they are). Since none of the plants and animals we auction off on either side of the border are illegal on the other side, it's all good.
