One thing that works well is to use one of those black plastic boxes that videotapes used to be kept in (I think I have a few spares) like at video rental places. You hack a hole in the end and the Bristlenose go hide in there, especially with some zuccini inside. They like it because it is dark in there. You just yank it out and pop it open. I have a couple I would like to move out of one tank to another and I am hoping not to tear apart the tank they are in catching them! THey are about 3-4" long now. I was thinking maybe a bottle with bait?
