- Thread-topic: Continuous Feeding?
This summer I was lucky enough to spend some time at the National Zoo in
Vienna. It's a fantastic place with some amazing breeding programs and
a stunning aquatic life center.
They had one exhibit which was an incredibly large reef tank. (Probably
close to 1 million gallons.) On it they made a note that the fish were
fed small amounts continuously. It was cited that feeding this way was
more natural to the fish and helped to reduce/eliminate aggression.
Has anyone heard of / tried something like this in their home tanks? I
wonder if an automatic feeder might be a benefit to cichlid colonies?
Jesse
