Some people like the brilliance of a 10k bulb, and use them with a 6500k
You can find endless discussion of light spectrums on APC (probably
Plantedtank as well). There is for example, a whole thread on the GE 9325K
bulb I like to use along with a 6500K.  I think, however, that if you really
like the look of a 10k bulb, with another bulb, people have had good success
growing plants.
