Re: [GSAS-Member] Glasscages
wooha! Didn't mean to set off a firestorm! I probably spoke to the
owners wife as well. She seemed relieved that I was going to buy a
tank. But I had to balk at the shipping. She didn't seem particularly
mean to me and said 'give us a call if I decide to chose them'. 1) They
wouldn't ship it UPS with the 'euro-bracing' which is what I want. She
said UPS breaks them if they are shipped with euro-bracing? I didn't
quite understand her explanation, and 2) The shipping just seemed to
high.
Roy thanks for the heads up. I don't know if they're a bad company, but
I think one of the bloggers said it best: They are probably good with
glass tanks, hence the name "GLASScages". And maybe not so good with
Acrylic. I'll check out the other leads folks have suggested and posted
here. And if anyone has other leads on west coast acrylic builders
please, let me know. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
