Re: [GSAS-Member] CFL bulbs

Erik,
I have found similar problems trying to find the PL-X bulbs and ballasts. Kind
of interesting since most industrial lighting seems to be using the PL style.
Where do they get theirs?

I was trying to replace some PL-13 bulbs on one of my smaller tanks
yesterday, and was displayed to find that Lowes no longer even carries the
ballasts, and that the bulbs themselves were only available in warm white.
So I picked up one of the 27 watt "99 cents" daylight bulbs and have it in
a pendant fixture over the tank. I would imagine that one could come up
with a 2-light pendant over a 10 that would look pretty slick.
