Thanks Roy, I believe you brought some "nymphoid - Taiwan" plants to the auction last meeting a small and a medium; I really liked the looks of them and wanted to bid on the medium plant but somehow I missed it in the auction; I bid on the small but bailed out in that I really wanted the medium sized plant; will you be bringing some more to the next meeting? Do I have the name correct on this plant? It was bright green and kind of looked like a lilly; Thanks for all your help, Jeff. -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Seattle_Aquarist Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 7:53 PM To: gsas-member@thekrib.com Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] AH Supply 4x96 Bright Kit Versus Aquticlife T5High Output 72" Lighting System Hi Jeff, I use the AH Supply DIY fixtures on two of my aquariums and I like them. With 4X96 watts on a 125 gallon I can imagine algae could be an issue; that is a lot of light! I run about 2 watts per gallon and I seem to be able to grow just about anything. I especially like the 1X96 watt I have on my 45 tall (24" tall) because the reflector seems to direct a lot of the light downward toward the substrate rather than outward toward the walls of the tank. I think Paul just set up a 6' aquarium; you may want to get his input. Hope this helps!
