[GSAS-Member] Vancouver club general acution THIS SATURDAY!

For those of you who have been living in a cave these past six months and
haven't heard, the VAHC auction is this coming Saturday in North Vancouver,
BC.  This is a really huge general auction and has a bewildering array of
all manner of goodies available for cheap - and since the dollar is slightly
up against the Looney right now, we could make out like bandits!

Our hosts for the evening tomorrow night, Dave Carlson and his family (Dave
is the auction chair for the VAHC, and has been to our general auction
several times), state that they will have TWO extra bedrooms available for
guests tomorrow night if anyone wants to come crash witht hem. This means an
early morning, as we were up at 6AM last year to go get coffee and donuts
for the setup crew, plus a couple hours of actual setting up chairs and
tables and the like in the parish gymnasium where the auction is held.  If
anyone is interested in staying with Dave and his clan, drop me an email
tonight and I'll get you his address.

Calye and I are heading up bright and shiny tomorrow morning, because Dave
works at the Vancouver Aquarium and is going to show us around! Yes, Steev,
we'll take many pictures :-)
