Another one for my kid's Kindergarten class. They have a 10-gallon tank
with a dual-incandescent socket, currently populated with two long
cylindrical bulbs. Ironically, they're doing a science unit on climate
change and inefficient use of electricity as well.
So it looks too small to fit a nice cheap government-subsidized
screw-in-compact fluorescent, but I've seen some thinner ones (for
instance, in the tanks that Paul auctioned in the November meeting).
Does anyone have a source for such bulbs, possibly beyond the fish stores?
Thanks,
- Erik
PS: Roy, I think I've got the archive pages updating correctly now.
Refresh the overall index at http://lists.thekrib.com/gsas-member/ and you
should be good to go. I hope. They update 4 times an hour, which should
be good enough for everyone...
