Hi,
Well we had all of Markus' cherry red shrimp colony disappear in his new
neat 5 gallon tank (and all of Isaak's guppy fry in his 5 gallon).
Turns out when we looked under the sponge in the aquaclear filter there
were 3 shrimp there, one huge one as well. I have no idea how they made
it past the propellar. Erik put a sponge over the intake. Then today (5
days later) I checked again and found another 3.....sigh, I assume they
must of been in the system before the intake sponge got added.
Does anyone breed shrimp in a tank with an aquaclear and if so what do you
do???
Thanks
Kathy
