On one of my 55g cichlid tanks I decided to go with all LED lighting. Put 2 strips of these (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=/specs/SE-WFLS.htm ) in the hood for day lighting and 8 of these (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2Fbolt_specs.htm) , 4 blue and 4 white, to use for night lighting. I love the different effects I can have in the tank and the shimmer they provide is incredible. My little Coralife LED is almost too bright on my 29GAL. I bet it could take on a 90GAL with some glow. Have fun!
