Has anyone else had this result; The water in the test tube is supposed to turn blue and then bright yellow; the number of drops it takes to turn it bright yellow is the degrees of carbonate hardness; my test tube water has never turned blue first it always starts to change from clear to yellow with the first drop; by about 3-5 drops its bright yellow; I've put in as much as twenty drops and it stays yellow all the way; If I am interpreting these results correctly my water is between 3-5 degrees which is very soft water which is excellent for plants and Amazonian type fish such as stingrays; Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Jeff A. AM Test in Redmond will do an official test for $ 12.00; I use them to test sewage all the time so they might run a test for me on the cuff; _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
