Actually,

That bunch of lobster being pulled out fresh was the wedding parties lunch,
day after the wedding. Talk about fresh, its  a small seashore restaurant
(only other island with a restaurant off the main Gran Los Roques), 20
minutes away. On an island called crasqui, Los Roques, and the restaurant is
called jaunita. Cool pics there too, which is where the sea turtles were...
apparently they got beached so they raise them to release - those *were not*
lunch ;)

There is no such thing as being in a hurry on this island, or los roques in
general... You want lobset for lunch, they just go out about 500 feet, catch
it and make it for you. Might take 2min, or 20min... you just dont know.

We had ours planned well in advance though for such a large party (22
people).
