Can anyone recommend a good book with plant species profiles? I need something with nice color pictures and recommended water parameters, for lots of species... ideally with information on how to identify an unknown species. It does not need to cover rare and exotic plants but should cover more than what you find at Petco, if you know what I mean. Since I know far less about plants than fish, I often end up with things that I can't remember the names of, usually by the time I get home from the store (or club). If it's less obvious than "dwarf hairgrass" I'm likely to forget what I have unless I write it down immediately. For example, right now, some kind of hygro (I think) is showing good growth, but some kind of... wort (?) is growing but also getting eaten. It's equally important to log which species don't do well so I don't bother with them again. I'd like to be a little more specific in my notes. :) Thanks, MS _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
