This was the same island as the fresh lobster lunch, very tiny but only other island with a cafe.. I asked about the sea turtles... The main island where all the sea turtles are is a 60 minute boat ride away from Grand Roques, and this island was 20min away. From time to time, babies get lost, so they put them in a tub until they get a bit bigger, then take them out to release them. Its important to note that Los Roques, VZ is a national park, so visitors are limited (30/day at any time, other than locals). You also pay a fee when you fly into the one island you can, though Los Roques comprises about 25 islands or more I believe. I think they have strict laws surrioning what you can and cannot do in regards to wildlife, mostly fish/reef/turtles, as they go there to mate.
