It's a black rubber hose; I can't read the manufacture's name but it says
"OEM HEATER HOSE 078698182612 MADE IN THE USA 08 06 08" on it; I used it
before on my 36g with "sunshine" the goldfish and she's doing fine; its only
a 12" section though on her tank; whereas it's a six foot section on my 260;
I used it because its super easy to get on the barbed fittings and never
leaks; Lowes and Mclendon's don't have very good supplies of tubing;
