I agree with all of what Matt K. said. I've run through a slew of them
to and still use them when I have to. But that said, if you feel its
just try it, then I would recommend the "Fish Mate F14". It is flat in
form and runs on 1 AA battery. I have had a couple of these feeders for
about 5-6yrs. now and they have not let me down yet. When I go away i
usually go for a week or more and these feeders can handle 15 days of
feeding. I feed catfish and community tanks and fill them pretty full,
no problem yet. As Matt mentioned, you have to be careful how you place
them over your tank; to much humidity getting into them and forget it.
The food sticks and its all over. There is a feature to plug an airline
into the food compartment, but I've never used it.
