I've got a good turface substrate (about 2" or so); all the plants are buried deep; I have more trouble with my Juparis then the ray so far; they are constantly gobbling sand and spitting it back out; they seem to gravitate to the bases of my favorite plants; I am a little worried at the moment about my ray in that he's been buried in the sand now for about three hours; I've been researching fw rays for almost six months so I know this is normal sometimes and can last a few days while the ray begins to relax; eventually he'll get hungry enough and start hunting; I'll pick up some earthworms on my way back to the office this afternoon and try those on him!
