[GSAS-Member] Anyone have a school of Congo tetras?

I have a lone senior Congo tetra that I would like to find a good home for.

Background for the interested:

This fish is the last survivor of a small school I had that died off over the years--hot weather and tankmates that grew up and became aggressive did most of them in. Then, this last guy was getting picked on my my ameca splendens, so I took him to the 20 gal tank at work. I reckoned that he was getting old and slow, and that is why he got beat up. When I took him to work I thought he was probably going to die... within a week or two at most. But he didn't!

He healed, but would not eat... for almost a month and a half he's been wasting away! I've never seen him eat more than a crumb at a time since he moved in. Well, today he started to eat again! Maybe he has some fight left in him after all.

If no one can give him a home with other congo tetras, I am going to take him home again. The mean ameca splendens is gone, and hopefully the rainbowfish I have now will not pick on him. He's probably miserable with no other mid-water fish around.

PS A Place for Pets in Burien has albino Congo tetras--man, they look cool!
