If we do give donated gifts to the judges in lieu of money or gift certificates, we need to realize that some gifts may not be appropriate. For example, if we are still considering an artist as one of the judges, he/she might not have any use for a canister filter or a VHO light strip, especially if he/she doesn't have an aquarium.
