Since the AGA chair has had to leave unexpectedly for the remainder of
this week, I now have no qualms with stating outright on this forum:

  THE PROPOSAL WAS APPROVED

I'll hold off on linking from the official AGA site until we have our
timing hammered out (I got mail from James about this today, so I wouldn't
be surprised if he's got something midday!).  Kathy and I will be flying
out to the NEC tonight... I will try to get internet access via my
employer so I can check in throughout the weekend.

(Now is where it should get REALLY interesting.)
